Enhanced Efficiency and Simplicity with tellthem™ by Lbox Communications for Vital Mail Communications

0

Last year, Lbox Communications, a UK-based mail distribution service, underwent a rebranding for their innovative Targeted Delivery and Mapping Platform (TDMP), which is now known as tellthem™. The new name better reflects the platform’s purpose, which is to streamline the delivery of essential mail notifications that keep communities well-informed.

tellthem™ has gained popularity among a diverse range of organisations, including Network RailGRAHAM ConstructionKanda ConsultingBalfour Beatty and The Royal Borough of Greenwich. By utilising tellthem™, these organisations are saving time and cutting costs. A free demo of the platform is currently available for interested parties to trial.

tellthem™: Making Fast and Accurate Mail Communications Effortless The construction industry in the UK has witnessed a significant increase in building projects. In 2022, the country experienced a 5% rise in construction output, ranging from large-scale civil engineering projects to local road and rail works.

Despite the varying scopes and costs of these projects, one commonality is the disruption they cause within communities, necessitating firms to notify affected residents, businesses, and stakeholders. This practice is typically mandatory and serves the purpose of minimising disturbances, encouraging public feedback, and keeping people informed.

However, sending these crucial mail communications has historically been a time-consuming and laborious process, significantly impacting productivity.

“Reaching the right individuals with essential mail notifications has been a demanding and time-consuming task for a long time,” explains David King, CEO of Lbox Communications and the creator of tellthem™.

“We often heard stories of people spending hours manually drawing maps, counting houses, and compiling address lists by hand,” he adds.

“In addition to that, there were numerous back-and-forth conversations with print and postage providers, painting a picture of the tremendous effort required for just a single batch of communications. When scaled across numerous projects, it became evident that organisations faced a significant problem.”

To address this outdated way of working, Lbox Communications developed tellthem™, a unique and groundbreaking TDMP designed for industries where essential mail communications play a pivotal role. This includes sectors such as construction, highway works, railworks, property planning, utilities, telecoms, and the public sector.

The goal behind tellthem™ was simple: to transform the hours spent by companies on organising mail campaigns into mere minutes, consolidating all the work into one user-friendly online platform.

“We gained a profound understanding of the challenges faced by our clients, which led to the development of tellthem™,” explains King. “Now, organisations can precisely map their delivery areas and effortlessly arrange printing, fulfillment, and delivery through a single online platform, all without the need for a subscription.”

Efficiency Simplified: How tellthem™ Works According to Lbox, tellthem™ has revolutionised the process of reaching residents, businesses, constituents, and stakeholders with vital mail notifications, making it faster and simpler than ever before.

The platform is designed to deliver crucial notifications to the intended recipients precisely when they are needed. It caters to a wide range of important communications, from construction notices and planning consultations to community newsletters and surveys.

To ensure a straightforward experience, tellthem™ incorporates powerful features such as Google Maps and instant search tools. These functionalities make it quick, easy, and convenient to find the right areas and addresses.

“We have also made it possible for tellthem™ users to search for delivery areas using postcodes, local landmarks, or even what3words codes,” explains King. “This flexibility allows users to identify the precise areas based on the available information.”

Additionally, the platform includes an ELR (Engineer’s Line Reference) search function, developed through Lbox’s long-standing relationship with Network Rail. This feature enables users in the railworks industry to immediately locate specific stretches of rail line that require attention.

Furthermore, Lbox discovered during their initial research that clients heavily relied on paper maps and markers to delineate their delivery zones. To modernise this approach, tellthem™ incorporates three built-in digital mapping tools: Polygon, Radius, and Buffer Line.

“Whether users need to focus on individual roads and postcodes or create multiple maps to cover larger areas, our smart and versatile mapping functions offer freedom and flexibility, allowing anyone to draw the required delivery areas within seconds,” highlights King.

Traditionally, informing communities involved manual counting of addresses, a time-consuming and arduous process that added complexity to cost estimation.

“With tellthem™, as users adjust the size of their target map, delivery method, and mail format, any changes are instantly reflected in the quote. This provides complete transparency regarding the destination of mail notifications and their associated costs,” adds King.

The rapid and powerful planning facilitated by tellthem™ is made possible through Lbox’s experienced team and cutting-edge technology. Users can choose from a wide range of paper stocks, and campaigns are efficiently turned around, often ready for next-day delivery via either Royal Mail or Lbox’s uniformed, GPS-tracked distributors.

With the ability to upload artwork, schedule delivery, and select postage through a single online platform, Lbox firmly believes that tellthem™ has made coordinating outreach efforts easier than ever before.

“Say goodbye to highlighters, discard the maps, and put calls to print and delivery providers on hold. tellthem™ takes care of everything through one fast, simple, and free-to-use platform tailored to your requirements,” concludes King.

Leading Medical Cannabis Clinic in Birmingham

In November 2018, the United Kingdom took a significant step forward by legalising the prescription of medical cannabis under the guidance of specialized clinicians listed on the register. This legislative reform paved the way for a remarkable surge in the number of prescriptions granted and the establishment of specialty clinics dedicated to providing expertise in prescribing medicinal cannabis. At the close of 2019, there were reportedly fewer than 250 active medical cannabis users in the UK. However, it is projected that this figure will soar to over 500,000 by 2024.

One such establishment at the forefront of this movement is the Birmingham Cannabis Clinic, situated within The Vesey Private Hospital. Regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission), this clinic offers medicinal cannabis as a treatment option for various conditions, including Anxiety, PTSD, Dermatological Conditions, Chronic Pain, and Epilepsy, after conventional treatments have been thoroughly explored.

To streamline the process and ensure simplicity for patients, a free eligibility appointment can be scheduled with a general practitioner either in person or via video conference. During this appointment, the GP assesses whether medicinal cannabis is the right choice for the patient. The clinic’s team conducts a comprehensive review of the patient’s medical history. If the team determines that medicinal cannabis is a suitable option, the patient is invited to the clinic for a detailed discussion on treatment plans with a consultant. In the event that medicinal cannabis is deemed inappropriate, the clinic’s GPs explore alternative medical treatments, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.

Taking a holistic approach to health and well-being, the Birmingham Cannabis Clinic offers a secure and robust patient journey. Eligibility for treatment is assessed by both a general practitioner and a consultant, employing a unique technique in the UK. Furthermore, the clinic provides well-being sessions within the hospital, encompassing activities such as yoga, massage, and mindfulness.

As part of their commitment to advancing medical cannabis use, the clinic contributes its clinical data to the UK Cannabis Register for auditing and governance purposes. This contribution serves to strengthen the broader utilization of medicinal cannabis products in the future.

Crucially, the clinic offers a network of support personnel who assist patients in accessing aid and guidance to maximize the benefits of prescribed treatments. They address any challenges or concerns patients may encounter along their treatment journey.

Ben Royal, the Registered Manager, expressed, “When we established The Vesey Private Hospital, our vision was to deliver exceptional care and cutting-edge treatments that are more cost-effective and accessible compared to traditional private healthcare. Additionally, we aimed to create patient journeys that are safe, effective, well-led, and underpinned by good governance. Medicinal cannabis is an area of treatment experiencing rapid growth in the UK, and we take pride in providing the West Midlands population with face-to-face access to experts who can delve into the risks and benefits in detail.”

Patients interested in learning more about the services offered by the Birmingham Cannabis Clinic can inquire via telephone at 0121 387 3727, or by email at [email protected]. Alternatively, they can book a free GP eligibility consultation by clicking on the provided link and selecting GP services.

While UK sees Turkiye as a “Ready to Trade” country, Turkish Ministry counts UK among the “Target Countries”

Agricultural products are also included in the exports of a strong agricultural country like Turkiye to the UK. Demand for products from the country is high in the UK, where nearly half a million Turkish citizens live.

London – Combining the continents of Europe and Asia, Turkiye plays an important role in global exports with many of its products. One of the prominent markets in the country’s exports is the United Kingdom (UK). From Turkiye, textiles, food and agricultural products to machinery and chemicals, there are suitable products from many sectors suitable for export to the UK.

Royal Innovative Founder Boris Volfman said: “Agriculture is one of the important sectors where two countries can cooperate to create economies and increase and benefit from each other’s competitive advantage. There is already fruitful cooperation between the two countries in this critical area. We aim to increase this even more.”

Turkiye is a “Ready to Trade” country for UK

The UK, which is the 5th largest economy in the world, has a vibrant market with its developed industry and high purchasing power. According to the economic freedom index, it is in the 24th position among 177 countries. It ranks 9th among 141 countries in the world in terms of global competitiveness and 8th among 190 countries in terms of ease of doing business.

Pointing out that the extensive commercial and economic relations between Turkiye and the UK, which date back to many years, have increased especially after the Brexit period, Boris Volfman said, “An agreement was reached on 24 December 2020 in the negotiations between the EU and the UK. With the agreement, which entered into force on January 1, 2021, duty-free trade for most goods is guaranteed. The UK also targeted to develop trade with 13 countries after Brexit. Turkiye is among the countries called ‘Ready to Trade’.”

The UK has traditionally been an important trading partner of Turkiye

Traditionally a very important trade partner of Turkiye, the UK is one of the countries where the country has a surplus in foreign trade. The trade volume between Turkiye and the UK is close to 19 billion dollars, according to the end of 2022 data. UK is also the 12th important supplier from which Turkiye imports.

Stating that Turkiye is an indispensable commercial partner of the United Kingdom, Boris Volfman said, “After Brexit, Turkiye and the UK are the two largest European countries that are not in the EU. In order to strengthen the partnership of the two countries, mutual trade and investment relations should also increase. Agricultural products are also included in the exports of a strong agricultural country like Turkiye to the UK. In the United Kingdom, where nearly half a million Turkish citizens live, the demand for products from Turkiye is high.”

Turkiye’s second largest export market in Europe

“Turkiye is one of the UK’s key trading partners. The UK is Turkiye’s second largest export market in Europe after Germany,” said Boris Volfman, noting that with the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed between the two countries at the end of 2020, increased the trade volume by 20.2% in 2021 compared to the previous year  “When we look at the last 10 years of Turkiye’s general exports to the UK, there has been a significant upward trend since 2014,” said Boris Volfman, adding, “The country’s exports to the UK reached a value of 13 billion 11 million dollars in the January-December 2022 period. When the trade with the UK in recent years is analyzed, it is observed that there is a foreign trade surplus in favor of Turkiye. Also UK is among the ‘Target Countries’ determined by the Turkish Ministry of Commerce for the period 2022-2023.

“There is an increase in the number of Turkish investors who realize their global goals through their strategic investments in the UK. We are trying to contribute to the increase in investment volume as well as trade by creating a network that will bring together potential business partners in Turkiye and the UK in an important field such as agriculture.”

Stating that commercial steps based on agricultural exports to the UK can turn into high profits with patience and proper planning, Boris Volfman said, “The UK is a country that imports vegetables and fruits from many countries of the world. In terms of logistics, both by land, sea and air, Turkiye is almost a paradise for the UK. For this reason, it is an ideal commercial location for Turkiye’s agriculture with its population approaching 79 million, primarily for vegetables and fruits, pulses and frozen products.

Scientifically Supported: The Validity of a 90-Day Abstinence Rule in Dating

0

Experts in the field of dating and relationships, based in London, UK, have scientifically substantiated the rationale behind waiting for 90 days before engaging in sexual activity with a new partner.

The 90-day dating rule gained prominence through the popular television personality and author of “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man,” Steve Harvey. Harvey introduced this rule as a means for women to steer clear of relationship difficulties by distinguishing between individuals seeking a committed relationship and those merely looking for casual encounters.

Stephen and Ebun Hammond, a husband and wife duo and dating coaches at Love Dimensions, have been assisting singles in finding love for over five years. They took it upon themselves to subject Harvey’s rule to scrutiny, examining whether it held scientific merit. It turns out, Harvey was indeed onto something!

Stephen explained, “Our initial focus was to explore what scientific research could reveal about the impact of hormones in love-related situations. It is widely known that sexual attraction in both men and women is triggered by a combination of hormones, including testosterone, dopamine, and adrenaline (also known as epinephrine). These hormones generate the exhilarating rush of excitement and euphoria experienced during the early stages of dating and falling in love, driving our desire to meet the other person and cultivate a relationship.”

“However,” Stephen continued, “what is less commonly known is that scientific research has shown that it typically takes at least 2-3 months for individuals to develop genuine feelings of love. Hormones play a pivotal role in this process as well. Oxytocin, often referred to as the ‘love hormone,’ is found in women, on average, three times more than in men. It facilitates bonding in relationships. Vasopressin, a lesser-known hormone, is crucial in fostering men’s inclination towards monogamy and protective behaviors within a relationship. Yet, just as emotional attachment in men requires time to develop, their testosterone levels need to decrease to allow oxytocin and vasopressin to take effect. Testosterone is a vital chemical element influencing love attraction in both genders.”

In cautioning women about the perils of rushing into commitment prematurely, Ebun stated, “Let’s be honest, dating should be about having fun. However, based on our experience, if women don’t allocate sufficient time to truly get to know someone, they are more likely to end up with emotionally unstable partners or risk becoming victims of domestic violence. The 90-day rule serves as a significant preventive measure against either of these outcomes. It is a sound scientific principle that we wholeheartedly endorse and encourage all our clients to follow.”

From lively nightlife scenes to breathtaking destinations, there are plenty of affordable party destinations worldwide that offer unforgettable experiences without emptying your wallet.”

Here are NetVoucherCodes’ top tips on how to party abroad on a budget:

  1. Choose an affordable location

If you’re planning a party holiday, you likely have a few destinations in mind. NetVoucherCodes has created a guide to the most popular and affordable party locations in Europe. This includes renowned clubbing hotspots like Zante, Magaluf, Kavos, and Ibiza. To make the most of your days, check out the activities available in these destinations. This way, you can enjoy scenic views and a vibrant nightlife simultaneously.

  1. Find a budget-friendly holiday provider

Party holidays are typically group affairs, which can make the booking process stressful. Simplify your travel itinerary by booking through a reliable and affordable holiday provider. Online platforms like lastminute.com, On the Beach, and EasyJet offer affordable package deals. By applying a discount code to your booking, you could save hundreds on your getaway.

  1. Book a clubbing holiday

Trusted travel retailers like Jet2holidays and TUI have dedicated clubbing holiday sections called Jet2Vibe and TUI Scene, respectively. These provide holiday packages for all types of partygoers. Opting for an all-inclusive package allows you to indulge in drinks without worrying about your wallet. Additionally, these packages often grant access to exclusive parties and events at discounted prices. Booking a clubbing holiday is also an excellent way to meet like-minded people heading to the same resort, enhancing your holiday experience.

  1. Explore alternative locations

While Ibiza remains a popular choice for ravers with its famous clubs like Pacha, Ushuaia, and Amnesia, the cost of drinks at nightclubs and beach clubs can be exorbitant. If Ibiza is beyond your budget, you can still enjoy a memorable party holiday with friends in more affordable locations like Zante, Magaluf, or Ayia Napa. These destinations host unforgettable white parties and feature sets from well-known DJs, ensuring amazing nightlife at a fraction of the cost. Moreover, alternative locations often offer cheaper drinks compared to Ibiza resorts, making them ideal venues for budget party holidays.

  1. Discover hidden bars

While it may be tempting to splurge on cocktails at popular clubs, this can quickly drain your funds. Instead, head out earlier and take advantage of happy hour deals, or seek out smaller, hidden bars along the strip for more affordable drinks. Late afternoon and early evening often feature drink specials, so it’s worth making the most of these offers. Although drinks may be pricier in clubs, you can still have fun on a budget by taking advantage of the drinks promotions available upon arrival.

By following these money-saving tips and travel recommendations, partygoers can enjoy an unforgettable party holiday without breaking the bank. Happy partying!

The Price of AI: Manchester Video Production Experts Sound the Alarm

0

A Manchester-based video production company is cautioning businesses about the use of generative AI in their branding videos, citing valid concerns.

AI has been dominating headlines ever since the release of OpenAI’s chatbot, ChatGPT, in November 2022. With an increasing number of advanced tools surfacing on the web, the creative industry has not been immune to the influence of generative AI tools that claim to create original and engaging content with just a few words. Even industry giants like Adobe have ventured into the development of AI-based tools, aiming to simplify processes such as video production. However, the recent introduction of their “revolutionary” Firefly Software has sparked a significant debate around the impact of AI in the industry.

Video production experts, Eight Engines, are challenging the advent of AI in the field.

“While AI is an exciting development with numerous applications, it cannot replace human creativity and emotion. Emotion is the driving force behind sales, brand image, and eliciting reactions. This is precisely why video marketing delivers such high returns on investment,” explained Jack, the company’s director and a video production expert in Manchester.

According to a report from the University of Southern California, emotion plays a pivotal role in video production. The research reveals that emotional video advertisements achieve success rates of 31%, whereas rational content only results in a 16% success rate.

Emotion is a critical element in effective video production—memorable videos are those that evoke an emotional response from viewers. Unfortunately, AI has yet to fully grasp human emotion and convey it convincingly.

Current AI tools, such as ChatGPT, still struggle to fully comprehend human emotion, which ultimately affects their ability to convey any form of feeling. The output often feels cold, devoid of emotion, and, well… robotic.

Eight Engines also highlights the lack of originality in AI-driven video production.

“AI-generated videos lack originality and quality. Software like DALL.E requires expert human input before it can generate something remotely realistic. Often, the resulting videos appear laggy and resemble flip-books of images. AI still has a long way to go before it can compete with high-quality, human-made videos.”

This observation holds true—AI cannot create truly original content. The tool is trained on hundreds of examples of art produced by humans, and it merely reimagines those pieces. Consequently, anything it produces lacks originality, leading to uninspired and flat results when employed in video production.

For now, it seems that using AI in video production may not be advisable.

However, there is a viable solution.

Eight Engines offers their customers genuine, high-quality video production in Manchester and the surrounding areas. Their friendly team can assist in developing original ideas and bringing them to life at the highest standards, ensuring that your branding truly reflects the essence of your company.
