Loneliness and Poetics – Results of the 2024 London Contemporary Art Review Announced

The highly anticipated results of the “Loneliness and Poetics – 2024 London Contemporary Art Review Exhibition” were announced on 18 November 2024, unveiling the achievements of exceptional artists from across the world. This online exhibition will run from 18 November to 18 December 2024, bringing together a remarkable range of contemporary art. Hosted in the UK, the competition drew entries from professional artists, academics, Ph.D. holders, and other prominent figures in the global art research community.

Gallery NAT proudly revealed the results of this international competition to the participating artists. Thousands of submissions were received, and the jury and curatorial team from Gallery NAT’s Academic Committee in the UK carried out a thorough three-round evaluation process. Their assessments prioritised fairness, impartiality, and criteria such as originality, academic integrity, and innovation, along with a balance of philosophical insight, emotional depth, and cultural diversity. Further consideration was given to thematic alignment, technical proficiency, creativity, and the ability to engage audiences. The selected artworks offer a bold and visionary approach to contemporary art.

The award-winning artists represent 26 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, France, Italy, China, South Africa, Canada, Iceland, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Luxembourg, Belgium, Mexico, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malta, Denmark, Colombia, Ireland, Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, and Kazakhstan. A total of 87 artists were recognised for their outstanding contributions, representing the top 4% of submissions worldwide.

The online media exhibition will showcase these remarkable works from November 18 to December 18, 2024.
