As sustainability becomes an increasing priority, Notts Sport has reimagined artificial grass by eliminating plastics and microplastics from its composition. Unlike conventional artificial turf, which relies on plastic-based materials, CocoTurf is entirely free from plastics, microplastics, and per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), ensuring a greener and safer solution for play areas and recreational spaces.
Crafted from coconut husks, a renewable and biodegradable resource, CocoTurf’s fibres are designed to provide a long-lasting and high-performance surface. The backing is made from certified natural rubber latex, making the product 100% non-plastic and free from toxic substances. This makes CocoTurf ideal for schools, parks, playgrounds, and other outdoor spaces requiring a sustainable, hard-wearing surface.
CocoTurf’s environmental advantages set it apart from traditional synthetic turf. Unlike plastic-based alternatives that shed microplastics into the environment, CocoTurf is biodegradable, preventing long-term pollution.
