This week, Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics, a leading provider of global logistics and supply chain services, has been honoured with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise 2024 in the International Trade category.
A government statement confirmed that the award was endorsed by His Majesty The King upon the recommendation of the Prime Minister. This accolade is recognised as the highest honour a UK business can receive.
The award follows a stringent auditing process by the government, during which Atlantic Pacific showcased an outstanding compliance record with HMRC, robust environmental and governance strategies, significant growth in overseas revenue, and consistent annual growth.
Ashley Nichols, Chairman of the Atlantic Pacific Group, stated, “We are proud and honoured to receive this fantastic award, which is a testament to the incredible efforts of our remarkable team.”
He added, “The fact that this accolade is awarded to so few, especially to those of us within the freight forwarding and logistics sector, makes the achievement even more special to us.”
“Our business has successfully grown year-on-year through innovation, hard-work and dedication, and recognition like this will only strengthen our determination to continue providing industry leading solutions.”
The King’s Award for Enterprise is a highlight among several accolades received by the group in recent months, including the FEBE 100, Fast Growth 50, and Growth Index 100 awards. In January, they also claimed the British International Freight Association’s (BIFA) Award for the European logistics category.
Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics is a core part of the Atlantic Pacific Group, an independently owned UK business with operations across the UK, USA, and Ireland. Since its founding in 2000, the company has nearly 25 years of experience in delivering global supply chain solutions.
The company is renowned for its unique approach to freight services and supply chain management, continually enhancing the service provided to clients.
This year’s King’s Awards for Enterprise coincides with the first anniversary of His Majesty’s Coronation on May 6th, 2023. Previously known as the Queen’s Awards, the tradition started in 1965.
Additionally, Atlantic Pacific has been invited to a reception at Windsor Castle, hosted by His Majesty The King later this year.
