From 4th to 10th December 2023, London will transform into a hub of culinary delight as it hosts World Raki Week by Yeni Raki. Yeni Raki, the celebrated Turkish spirit, has organised a week-long calendar of events across London. Guided by esteemed personalities like Douglas Blyde of the Evening Standard and Berkok Yüksel of National Geographic, these events will offer a unique exploration of Turkish culture.
Starting at TT Liquor in Hoxton, the event series allows 15 cocktail enthusiasts daily, from 4th to 5th December, to engage in Yeni Raki mixology classes. Participants will learn to make signature Yeni Raki cocktails. Tickets can be purchased at WorldRakiWeek.com.
On 7th December, Dükkan will host the ‘Breaking Traditions’ party, led by Berkok Yüksel. Guests will enjoy an evening of British classics with a Turkish twist, featuring a pub quiz and various activities. Tickets are available at www.worldrakiweek.com.
The highlight event on 8th December is an exclusive soirée at Rüya, hosted by the Evening Standard’s Douglas Blyde.
